Most companies in the US are at least afraid of being sued. Most companies in the US know that even if they win a lawsuit, the legal bill that they will end up having to pay will be almost as high as any judgment that could have been rendered against them. Law Firms are not like other companies.

First off, law firms are partnerships. The nature of a partnership creates a class of people (i.e. partners ) who are special and above the rest of the people in the workplace. Everything then about advancing in a law firm becomes about who the partners want to have sex with and who the partners hate. Knowledge and talent have zero to do with law because law itself has zero to do with knowledge and talent.

Second, in order to be a successful law firm, you HAVE to have judges in your pocket who will decide lawsuits in your favor. Every major law firm has ongoing contact with judges either directly or through the various bullsheat "legal associations" that merely serve as a guise for some law firm sucking up to some judge. So, Law Firms are not afraid of being sued because they know that the judges they are buying lunches for and vactions for and other sheat for are not going to rule against them in any lawsuits. About the only kinds of lawsuits Law Firms are afraid of are lawsuits in which the Plaintiff is legally entitled to a jury trial. Law Firms are afraid of jury trials because they know that the average man on the street hates lawyers.

Third, about the only chance in hell that a government attorney/prosecutor has of ever making any real money is when he/she cashes out by leaving the government and going to work for some big law firm. In effect, the position of "government prosecutor" is nothing more than a temp to perm audition for getting a job with a major law firm. No government prosecutor is going to go after any major law firm because he/she knows that every major law firm is a potential future employer and $1million to $3million dollars a year in income.

The IRS is about the only chance you have of taking down a lawyer or a law firm. The IRS will go after anybody hiding income, even if they have judges in their pockets. And get this, I have NOT worked in many law firms in which there WASN'T some kind of billing fraud going on. In one major law firm, the WP Center was conning temp agencies into sending it temps for training and then the law firm was billing its Clients for the work the temps did during the training - without paying the temps or the temp agencies


I don't know what happens to the Good Looking Young guys who go to work for law firms when they graduate from college. All I can think of is that the good looking guys working for law firms discover that there are other easier ways of making a lot of money in NYC when you are Young and Hot (instead of being "billing by the hour whores"). The bottom line is that most lawyers are ugly, out of shape and totally repulsive in every way. Lawyers in NYC look like these ugly abused geeks that everyone hated in high school.

You would think that if some old judge wanted to develop some quasi homo relationship with a lawyer, that he would at least pick a good looking lawyer? But it seems that with some people money means more than sex. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that JUDGE is a fancy title but it doesn't really come with any real money.

The very fact that there are now more women in law school getting law degrees than men only shows how STUPID women in law school are (and how little they know about how law works). Law is a men's club, law is about who you know not about what you know. I mean, any idiot can go to a database like Westlaw and instantly know everything legal there is to know about a specific subject.

I am actually running into a lot of women with law degrees working as headhunters. Maybe it's just me, but paying through the fahking nose for a law degree so that you can then be a fahking temp counselor seems like a major fahking waste of time as money. but since these beauches have no sex lives, I guess they don't have sheat else to do.
